How to Play

Pick eight (8) different NFL team logos on the Powerball Xs & Os play slip, or mark the quick pick box.

Each play costs $5. Only one play can be purchased using a play slip. You can purchase the same teams for consecutive drawings when you use the multi-draw box on the play slip.

Tickets can be purchased from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. (Central Time) any day of the week except from 7:59 p.m. to 8:02 p.m. (C.T.) on Sunday nights. Any tickets purchased after 7:59 p.m. (C.T.) on a Sunday will be eligible for the next drawing date. Review your play slip carefully before giving it to the clerk. Once printed, a ticket cannot be canceled. Check your tickets before leaving the store.

Sunday Drawings

Winning team logos will be announced every Sunday after 9:00 p.m. (C.T.) Powerball Xs & Os results are randomly drawn and not based on, determined by, or dependent on the outcome of NFL games. The drawing results are not based on the Powerball winning numbers. Get drawing results here (nelottery.com), from your favorite Nebraska Lottery retailer, the Nebraska Lottery mobile app, or on the Players Hotline at 1-800-224-LUCK (5825) or in Lincoln at 402-471-6139.

Cash Jackpot

Powerball Xs & Os has a cash jackpot for matching all eight team logos drawn. No annuity option is available. The starting jackpot for the September 13, 2026, drawing will be $1 million. Subsequent starting jackpots will be based on weekly sales. Each time the jackpot is not won, the jackpot will increase by an amount based on sales for that drawing.

Pari-Mutuel Prizes

While Powerball Xs & Os™ offers set prize amounts for lower-tier prizes, payouts may be determined on a pari-mutuel basis under certain circumstances. Click here for more information.

Promotional Prizes

Every Powerball Xs & Os ticket purchased is eligible to win special promotional prizes. Enter winning and non-winning tickets for promotional prizes at powerballofficial.com up to 90 days after a Powerball Xs & Os drawing. The promotional prize program is not conducted by the Nebraska Lottery. Prizes, drawing dates and other information is available at powerballofficial.com.
