Omaha Man Wins $10,008 Playing Powerball

March 23, 2010 – Rocki Schleu of Omaha recently won $10,008 playing Powerball from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 31,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Saturday, March 13, drawings. Among these winners was Schleu, who purchased his winning Powerball ticket at Bucky's Express, 4805 South 108th Street in Omaha. One play on the ticket contained four of the five white ball numbers (6, 16, 20, 31, 36) and the Powerball number (8) from the March 13 drawing for $10,000.

Two additional plays on the ticket matched one of the winning numbers and the Powerball number for $4 each, making Schleu’s total win $10,008.

Two hundred and eighty Nebraska Lottery players have won the $10,000 Powerball prize to date. The odds of winning $10,000 playing Powerball are 1 in 723,145, and the odds of winning $4 are 1 in 123. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 35.11.
