Public Records Request

As a division of the Nebraska Department of Revenue, the Nebraska Lottery is required to make public records available upon request.

Pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 84-712.01 , a public record is defined as any document or record, regardless of physical form, of or belonging to the state, that is not expressly prohibited from being disclosed. Many business records kept by the Nebraska Lottery are public records. However, under Neb. Rev. Stat. § 84-712.05 there are certain records that can be withheld from the public.

Requests for public records should be in writing and sent to:

Requestors should provide their name, mailing address, telephone number or email address to facilitate communication regarding the request.

Records requests should reasonably identify the information or records desired. Providing specific details will allow the Lottery to process a request more quickly than a general request for all information pertaining to a particular subject. Please be advised there may be a charge for providing copies of the records you are requesting as allowed under state law.
