$5,000 MyDaY Prize for Lincoln Man

February 25, 2010 – Brent Frohner of Lincoln recently won $5,000 playing MyDaY from the Nebraska Lottery.

Frohner received his winning MyDaY ticket by redeeming a Nebraska Lottery coupon for a free $2 MyDaY ticket with the purchase of a $5 Nebraska Pick 5 ticket at the Vina Market, 611 N 27th Street in Lincoln. One play on the ticket contained the winning Month (5), winning Day (29), and winning Year (95) from the February 12 drawing for the $5,000 top prize.

One hundred and nine Nebraska Lottery players have won the MyDaY top prize since the game launched on October 1, 2008. Frohner plans to pay his college tuition using his winnings.

MyDaY is a new Nebraska Lottery Lotto game with a calendar theme. Players can win up to $5,000 by choosing a six-digit date for each $1 MyDaY play. The odds of winning the $5,000 top prize in MyDaY are 1 in 36,525, and the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 8.17.
