Ceresco Woman Wins $22,000 2by2 Prize

February 1, 2010 – Margaret Lanik of Ceresco recently won $22,000 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.

For the January 13 drawing, Lanik received a quick pick ticket from a previous 2by2 play at Mill’s Squeegee Fill, 2601 Ticonderoga Drive in Lincoln. The ticket contained the winning red ball numbers (10, 22) and white ball numbers (18, 26) from the January 13 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.

Two hundred and five Nebraska Lottery players have won the 2by2 top prize to date.

While claiming her prize on January 21, Lanik told Nebraska Lottery officials that she learned she had won after returning to Mill’s to check her ticket. She stated that she “jumped up and down” when she realized she had won the 2by2 top prize. Lanik plans to pay bills using her winnings.

2by2 is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and was introduced in June 2002. Players in Kansas, Nebraska and North Dakota have the opportunity to win up to $22,000 Monday through Sunday by playing 2by2. The odds of winning the $22,000 2by2 top prize are 1 in 105,625, while the overall odds are 1 in 3.59.
