Patrick Logelin of Omaha is the first winner of a 2016 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 SuperCrew Flex Fuel truck in the 21st edition of the Nebraska Lottery’s $2 Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game.

Logelin recently purchased his winning Truck$ & Buck$ ticket at Casey’s General Store, 15275 Weir Plaza in Omaha. Scratching the ticket, he revealed matching numbers in Game 3 for the corresponding truck prize.

Nebraska Lottery officials presented Logelin with his prize on Monday, February 29, at Casey’s. At the event, he stated that he has bought Truck$ & Buck$ tickets off and on for years since the first Truck$ & Buck$ game was launched. He learned he had won the truck prize after contacting the Lottery to check the ticket. Then he called his wife to share the good news. “I said, ‘Honey, I won a new truck,’” said Logelin. “She didn’t believe me.”

The truck prize is valued at $52,250, which includes $1,504 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $2,662.50 and $13,312.50, respectively. The odds of winning the top prize in Truck$ & Buck$ are 1 in 300,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.14.

Six weekly drawings will be held between March 21 and April 27, with one winner drawn in each drawing. Each winner will receive $5,000.

Only multi-draw 2by2 tickets purchased for seven consecutive drawings will produce a voucher number. To purchase an eligible 2by2 ticket, use a playslip and check the multi-draw box for seven drawings.
