The total cost, or number of plays of the Mega Millions purchase, does not determine the Nth ticket trigger – this is based solely on the number of Mega Millions transactions across Nebraska. Only one prize will be generated for the Nth purchase. For example, every 70th transaction will only trigger the 70th ticket prize and will not trigger the 10th ticket prize. Additionally, every 400th purchase will only trigger the 400th ticket prize and will not also trigger the 10th, 70th, or 135th ticket prizes.
