Columbus Man Wins $6,000 Playing $100,000 Extreme Green
Mike Voss of Columbus won $6,000 playing the $10 Scratch game $100,000 Extreme Green from the Nebraska Lottery.
Voss purchased his winning Extreme Green ticket at Fast Mart, 3222 23rd Street in Columbus. Scratching the ticket, he revealed an “X” win-all symbol in one of the six games on the ticket, winning all six $1,000 prizes for a total of $6,000.
There are four $6,000 prizes available in $100,000 Extreme Green. Voss is the third person to claim a $6,000 prize to date.
While claiming his prize on March 22, Voss told Nebraska Lottery officials that he was shocked to win the $6,000 prize. “At first I thought it was only worth $1,000, but then I saw the whole column. It blew my mind,” said Voss. He plans to take a vacation using his winnings.
$100,000 Extreme Green is $10 Scratch ticket from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $2.1 million in cash prizes from $10 to $100,000. The odds of winning $6,000 playing $100,000 Extreme Green are 1 in 153,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are1 in 3.73.
