Valerie Mason of Minatare won $30,000 playing the $3 Scratch game Digging Diamonds from the Nebraska Lottery.
Mason purchased her winning Digging Diamonds ticket at 5th & O Eastco, 503 East Overland in Scottsbluff. Scratching the ticket, she completely uncovered a diamond symbol to win the game’s top prize.
There are three $30,000 top prizes in Digging Diamonds. Mason is the second person to claim a top prize to date.
