Beatrice Woman Wins $40,000 Playing Reindeer Game

Gina Stevens Gina Stevens of Beatrice won $40,000 playing Reindeer Game, a $5 Scratch game from Nebraska Lottery.

Stevens purchased her winning ticket at House of Bottles, 2025 Court Street in Beatrice, where she works. Scratching the ticket, she matched her coordinates to those corresponding with the top prize.

Reindeer Game has three top prizes. Stevens is the first person to claim one. The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 120,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.24.

While claiming her prize on Nov. 4, Stevens told Nebraska Lottery officials that she is an avid lottery player. In 1998, she won $35,000 on a Nebraska Lottery ticket.

“I just yelled,” she said when asked about her reaction to her latest win. Stevens said that she plans to take a trip to Branson with her winnings.
