Marquette Man Claims Third Truck$ & Buck$ Truck

James McPeakJames McPeak of Marquette is the third winner of a 2015 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 SuperCrew Flex Fuel truck in the 20th edition of the Nebraska Lottery’s $2 Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game.

McPeak’s wife Leilani recently gave the winning Truck$ & Buck$ ticket to her husband as a belated birthday gift. The ticket was purchased at Casey’s General Store, 902 G Street in Central City. Scratching the ticket, he revealed matching numbers in Game 3 for the corresponding truck prize.

Nebraska Lottery officials presented McPeak with his prize on Thursday, May 7 at Casey’s General Store. “There’s nothing better than getting a new truck - except when it only costs $2,” said McPeak.

The 20th edition of the Nebraska Lottery’s popular Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game featured the 2015 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 SuperCrew Flex Fuel truck as its top prize. Players had the opportunity to win one of three Ford F-150 trucks as well as $857,180 in cash and Ethanol-enriched fuel prizes. The truck prize was valued at $52,000 which included $1,813 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $2,600 and $13,000, respectively. The odds of winning the top prize in Truck$ & Buck$ were 1 in 260,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.14.
