McCool Junction Woman Wins $7,000 playing Quick 7s

Michelle NelsonMichelle Nelson of McCool Junction won $7,000 playing the $1 Scratch game Quick 7s from the Nebraska Lottery.

Nelson received her winning ticket as a birthday gift. The ticket was purchased at Sapp’s Gas & Wash, 1502 West O Street in Lincoln. Scratching the ticket, she revealed a winning “7” symbol with a corresponding prize of $7,000.

There were six $7,000 top prizes in this edition of Quick 7s. Nelson was the sixth person to claim a top prize in the game. She plans to pay bills using her winnings.

Quick 7s was a $1 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lotter that offered players the chance to win $2.2 million in cash prizes from $2 to $7,000. The odds of winning the top prize in Quick 7s were 1 in 720,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize were 1 in 3.6.
