Lincoln Man Wins $5,000 Playing Get in Line

James HartleyJames Hartley of Lincoln won $5,000 playing the $1 Scratch game Get in Line from the Nebraska Lottery.

Hartley purchased his winning Get in Line ticket at Kwik Shop, 3301 Holdrege Street in Lincoln. Scratching the ticket, he revealed three identical symbols in a diagonal line for a corresponding prize of $5,000.

There are three $5,000 top prizes available in Get in Line. Harley is the first person to claim a top prize to date.

While claiming his prize on January 23, Hartley told Nebraska Lottery officials that he was “calm” when he realized he had won the top prize. “I showed it to my wife, and she said, ‘Are you joking?’ She couldn’t believe it.” He plans to save his winnings for the future.

Get in Line is a $1 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $439,710 in cash prizes from $1 to $5,000. The odds of winning the top prize in Get in Line are 1 in 240,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 4.
