Scottsbluff Man Wins $126,000 Playing Nebraska Pick 5

Nebraska Pick 5March 4, 2014 – Robert Francis of Scottsbluff recently won $126,000 playing Nebraska Pick 5 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 9,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Thursday, January 9, drawings. Francis purchased his winning Nebraska Pick 5 ticket at Route 26 Mart, 1722 East 20th Street in Scottsbluff. The quick pick ticket contained one play with all five of the winning numbers (1, 5, 11, 15, 37) from the January 29 drawing for the $126,000 jackpot.

Three hundred Nebraska Lottery players have won the Nebraska Pick 5 jackpot to date.

While claiming his prize on February 28, Francis told Nebraska Lottery officials he was “surprised” to win the Nebraska Pick 5 jackpot. “You never really think you’ll win until it happens,” said Francis. He stated that he had no definite plans for his prize, but said he would likely save his winnings for the future.

Nebraska Pick 5 is Nebraska's unique Lottery game: all the proceeds from Nebraska Pick 5 stay in Nebraska, and all the winning tickets are sold in Nebraska at Nebraska Lottery Lotto game retailers.
