Nebraska Lottery February Update

The Nebraska Lottery has released the 18th edition of its popular $2 Scratch game Truck$ & Buck$.

Truck$ & Buck$ is the Nebraska Lottery’s longest-running Scratch game, and players await the return of Truck$ & Buck$ every year. The “Truck$” in this year’s game are three 2013 Toyota Tundra Rock Warrior CrewMax 4x4 Flex Fuel trucks. The truck prize is valued at $58,500, which includes $1,171 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $2,925 and $14,625, respectively.

For the “Buck$” portion of the game, a total of $765,120 in cash prizes is available, including 60 prizes of $500. Players can also win one of three $1,000 Ethanol-enriched fuel prizes. The odds of winning the top prize in Truck$ & Buck$ are 1 in 240,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.39.

Players who don’t win a Toyota Tundra in the Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game have a second chance to win in the Truck$ & Buck$ Second-Chance Giveaway.

Through May 28, players who send in $10 worth of non-winning $2 Scratch tickets will be entered for a chance to win a 2013 Toyota Tundra Rock Warrior CrewMax 4x4 Flex Fuel truck. Entries may be submitted via the Nebraska Lottery website, nelottery.com, or by mail to:

The year 1993 was a year filled with historic moments. Bill Clinton was inaugurated as President of the United States; the World Wide Web was introduced; and on September 11, 1993, the first Nebraska Lottery ticket was sold. Twenty years later, the Nebraska Lottery is still providing lottery players with fun and excitement. We have several things planned to celebrate our 20th anniversary.

Platinum Jubilee 20x As with our previous anniversaries, we have planned some special Scratch games for our 20th year. Bonus Crossword, our best-selling $3 Scratch game, has been updated with new artwork as Anniversary Bonus Crossword. A new $10 game, Platinum Jubilee 20X, will also be available in 2013. Platinum Jubilee 20X feature the five scenes of Nebraska that were printed on the first Lottery Scratch game, Nebraska Match Three. Throughout the year, we’ll also be running other promotions tied to both Scratch and Lotto games for even more opportunities to win, and our event staff will bring lottery fun to events across Nebraska.

The Nebraska Lottery will continue to celebrate 20 years of providing quality entertainment options and generating proceeds for good causes. The total amount raised for education, the environment, the Nebraska State Fair and Compulsive Gamblers Assistance since 1993 has exceeded $468 million, and every county in Nebraska has benefited from projects funded with Nebraska Lottery proceeds.
