POWERBALL WATCH TO WIN PROMOTION

Starting January 26, you can win televisions, notebook computers, and other merchandise in the Powerball Watch to Win Promotion.

Between January 26 and February 19, a secret word will be revealed during each televised Powerball drawing. Players who visit the Powerball website, powerball.com, and enter the secret word within 38 hours of the drawing will be eligible to win the following prizes:

• Draw 1 – Ten (10) 26” Sharp® HD/DVD televisions;
• Draw 2 – Fifteen (15) Hewlett Packard® Mini Notebook Personal Computers;
• Draw 3 – Twenty-four (24) Sony® 3D Blu-Ray® Disc Players;
• Draw 4 – Fifteen (15) Nintendo® Wii® Game System Bundles;
• Draw 5 – Ten (10) Yamaha® Home Theatre Systems;
• Draw 6 – Ten (10) Bose® SoundDock® Music Systems;
• Draw 7 – Thirty-two (32) Garmin® GPS units;
• Draw 8 – Eighteen (18) Bose® Quiet Comfort® Headphones.

Each word will be valid for one drawing only, and a new word will be revealed during each Powerball drawing for use in entering the next prize drawing. The secret code will be displayed on all recorded displays of the drawing, including the drawing videos at powerball.com.

COMING SOON: NEBRASKA PICK 5 DOUBLER

Back by popular demand, the Nebraska Pick 5 Jackpot Doubler promotion begins on February 1, 2011.

The Jackpot Doubler promotion doubles the Nebraska Pick 5 jackpot each time it is won during the month of February. If a player correctly picks all 5 out of 5 numbers for a draw during the promotion, the winner would receive double the amount of the advertised jackpot. For example, if the advertised jackpot is $90,000 and all five numbers for that draw are correctly chosen, the winner would be entitled to $180,000.

Though the "doubler" aspect of the promotion only applies to the jackpot amount, the promotion will continue to apply to all drawings throughout the month, regardless of how many times the jackpot is won.

If a Nebraska Pick 5 jackpot is not won during the month of February, then the first jackpot won after February will double. For example, if no jackpot is won in February but a Nebraska Pick 5 jackpot is next won on March 5, 2011, that jackpot will be doubled.

Nebraska Pick 5 is a unique Nebraska Lottery game: all the proceeds from Nebraska Pick 5 stay in Nebraska, and all the winning tickets are sold in Nebraska at Nebraska Lottery Lotto game retailers. The odds of winning the Nebraska Pick 5 jackpot are 1 in 501,942, while the overall odds of winning a prize in the game are 1 in 8.
