Truck Giveaway Winner Drives Away with New Ford F-150

In front of a large crowd, 10 semifinalists in the Truck$ & Buck$ Second-Chance Giveaway gathered on June 6 at Haymarket Park in Lincoln to find out who would drive away with a 2015 Ford F-150 Flex Fuel truck.

After a series of elimination rounds, two finalists remained in the giveaway drawing. Steven Wilson of Lincoln and Les Boroff, a proxy contestant representing Ronald Boroff of Fremont, took turns selecting velvet pouches containing a key fob. Only one of the six fobs belonged to the Ford F-150. Wilson drew the first fob and pressed the panic button. With a cheer from the crowd the truck’s horn sounded, confirming that Wilson was the Grand Prize winner.

The Truck$ & Buck$ Second-Chance Giveaway allowed players to submit $10 worth of non-winning $2 Scratch tickets for a chance to win a 2015 Ford F-150 Flex Fuel truck. Two preliminary drawings were held in March and May to select 10 semifinalists who competed in the final Grand Prize contest.

Wilson, the Grand Prize winner, received a 2015 Ford F-150 Flex Fuel truck, and a $100 gift card from the Nebraska Ethanol Board and Nebraska Corn Board. The truck prize includes a cash payment to the winner for costs associated with ownership, and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery.

The remaining semifinalists won the following cash prizes:

Ronald Boroff, Fremont - $3,000
Melissa Fattig, Kearney - $2,000
Renee Fry, Hastings - $1,000
Tatjana Sutej, Omaha - $1,000
Patty Curtis, North Platte - $1,000
Janita Seaman, Seward - $500
Michael Szwanek, Lincoln - $500
Kaewanani Colomban, Chappell - $500
John Fehrs, Norfolk - $500

All semifinalists received a $100 E-10 gift card from the Nebraska Ethanol Board and Nebraska Corn Board and a prize package with products from the Nebraska Lottery.
