Norfolk Man Claims First Truck$ & Buck$ Truck

Michael SalmonsMichael Salmons of Norfolk is the first winner of a 2015 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 SuperCrew Flex Fuel truck in the 20th edition of the Nebraska Lottery’s $2 Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game.

Salmons recently purchased his winning Truck$ & Buck$ ticket at Merchant’s C-Store, 400 East Norfolk Avenue in Norfolk. Scratching the ticket, he revealed three “Key” symbols in Game 2 for the corresponding truck prize.

Nebraska Lottery officials presented Salmons with his prize on Tuesday, February 24 at Merchant’s. This is not the first time Salmons has won a Lottery prize; in November 2014 he won $30,000 playing the $5 Scratch game Fun 5s.

The 20th edition of the Nebraska Lottery’s popular Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game features the 2015 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 SuperCrew Flex Fuel truck as its top prize. Players have the opportunity to win one of three Ford F-150 trucks as well as $857,180 in cash and Ethanol-enriched fuel prizes. The truck prize is valued at $52,000 which includes $1,813 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $2,600 and $13,000, respectively. The odds of winning the top prize in Truck$ & Buck$ are 1 in 260,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.14.
