$22,006 2by2 Prize for Phillips Man

Robert WiederholtRobert Wiederholt of Phillips won a total of $22,006 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were 6,341 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Thursday, February 5 drawings. Among these winners was Wiederholt, who purchased his winning ticket at Casey’s General Store, 3428 West Capitol Avenue in Grand Island. The two-play ticket was good for 14 draws and contained one play with the winning red ball numbers (1, 7) and winning white ball numbers (2, 9) from the February 5 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.

Because Wiederholt purchased a multi-draw ticket, he also matched both red ball numbers in the January 28 and January 31 drawings for $3 each, making his total prize $22,006.

Three hundred and forty-one Nebraska Lottery players have won the 2by2 top prize to date.

While claiming his prize on February 6, Wiederholt told Nebraska Lottery officials that he was “very happy” to win the 2by2 top prize. He learned he had won after seeing the winning numbers on the Nebraska Lottery website, nelottery.com. Wiederholt plans to pay bills using his winnings.

2by2 is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and was introduced in June 2002. Players in Kansas, Nebraska and North Dakota have the opportunity to win up to $22,000 Monday through Sunday by playing 2by2. The odds of winning the $22,000 2by2 top prize are 1 in 105,625. The odds of winning $3 are 1 in 383, and the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.59.
