Lincoln Woman Wins $35,000 Playing Monopoly®

Tiffany RobertsTiffany Roberts of Lincoln won $35,000 playing the $3 Scratch game Monopoly from the Nebraska Lottery.

Roberts purchased her winning Monopoly ticket at Sapp’s Gas & Wash, 1502 West O Street in Lincoln. Scratching the ticket, she revealed matching numbers with a corresponding prize of $35,000.

There are three $35,000 top prizes available in Monopoly. Roberts is the first person to claim a top prize to date.

Based on the classic board game of the same name, the $3 Monopoly Scratch game gives players the chance to win $1.1 million in cash prizes from $3 to $35,000. The odds of winning $35,000 playing Monopoly are 1 in 100,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.67.
