La Vista Man Wins $7,000 Playing Quick 7s

Dennis GonzalesDennis Gonzalez of La Vista won $7,000 playing the $1 Scratch game Quick 7s from the Nebraska Lottery.

Gonzalez purchased his winning Quick 7s ticket at Kum & Go, 7152 Pacific Street in Omaha. Scratching the ticket, he revealed seven winning “7” symbols with corresponding prizes of $1,000 for a total of $7,000.

There are six $7,000 top prizes available in Holiday Quick 7s. Gonzalez is the fourth person to claim a prize in the game.

While claiming his prize on December 1, Gonzalez told Nebraska Lottery officials that he was “excited” to win. “I’ve got a baby on the way, so that’s what I’ll be spending the money on,” sad Gonzalez.

Quick 7s is a $1 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $2.2 million in cash prizes from $2 to $7,000. The odds of winning $7,000 playing Quick 7s are in 1,440,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.60.
