$22,003 2by2 Prize for Chapman Woman

Lavon GlinesLavon Glines of Chapman won a total of $22,003 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 20,500 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Friday, October 24 drawings. Glines purchased her winning 2by2 ticket at Pumpers, 1904 North Diers Avenue in Grand Island. The ticket was good for 28 draws and contained the winning red ball numbers (3, 13) and winning white ball numbers (10, 21) from the October 24 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.

Because Glines purchased a multi-draw ticket, she also matched one white ball numbers and one red ball number in the October 22 drawing for $3. Her total prize was $22,003.

Three hundred and thirty-seven Nebraska Lottery players have won the 2by2 top prize to date.

While claiming her prize on October 28, Glines told Nebraska Lottery officials that she uses her birthday and her dog’s birthday to choose her 2by2 numbers. She learned she had won after checking the Nebraska Lottery website, nelottery.com. “I had to check the numbers three times before I was sure that I’d won,” said Glines. “It was so late at night I couldn’t call anyone to share the news.” She plans to purchase a new computer and save her winnings for the future.

2by2 is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and was introduced in June 2002. Players in Kansas, Nebraska and North Dakota have the opportunity to win up to $22,000 Monday through Sunday by playing 2by2. The odds of winning the $22,000 2by2 top prize are 1 in 105,625, and the odds of winning $3 are 1 in 383. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.59.
