Omaha Woman Wins $100,000 Playing The Big $10 Ticket

Baum purchased her winning Big $10 Ticket at Quik Trip, 8727 Maple Street in Omaha. Scratching the ticket, she revealed matching numbers with a corresponding prize of $100,000.

There are three $100,000 top prizes available in The Big $10 Ticket. Baum is the second person to claim a top prize in the game.

While claiming her prize on October 17, Baum told Nebraska Lottery officials that she didn’t realize she had won the top prize at first. “I saw a nine and I thought I’d won a free ticket,” said Baum. “I wasn’t expecting $100,000.” She plans to invest her winnings for the future.

The Big $10 Ticket is a $10 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offer players the chance to win $2.2 million in cash prizes from $10 to $100,000. The odds of winning the $100,000 top prize are 1 in 102,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.28.
