Grand Island Man Wins $33,333 playing Electric 3s

David Bailey of Grand Island won $33,333 playing the $3 Scratch game Electric 3s from the Nebraska Lottery.

Bailey purchased his winning Electric 3s ticket at Ampride, 3210 West Potash in Grand Island. Scratching the ticket, he revealed matching numbers with a corresponding prize of $33,333.

There are three $33,333 top prizes available in Electric 3s. Bailey is the second person to claim a top prize to date.

While claiming his prize on August 12, Bailey told Nebraska Lottery officials that at first he didn’t realize he had won the top prize. “I gave it to my wife and said, ‘Look at this and tell me if this is right,’” said Bailey. “I couldn’t believe it.” He plans to pay bills and take a vacation using his winnings.

Electric 3s is a $3 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $906,367 in cash prizes from $3 to $33,333. The odds of winning the top prize in Electric 3s are 1 in 160,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.42.
