Final Truck$ & Buck$ Truck Claimed by Raymond Woman

Billi Jo Jacobsen May 29, 2014 – Billi Jo Jacobsen of Raymond was the third winner of a 2014 Chevrolet® Silverado™ 1500 Crew Cab Flex Fuel truck in the 19th edition of the Nebraska Lottery’s $2 Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game.

Jacobsen recently purchased her winning Truck$ & Buck$ ticket at Kwik Shop, 2710 W Street in Lincoln. Scratching the ticket, she revealed matching numbers in Game 3 for the corresponding truck prize.

Nebraska Lottery officials presented Jacobsen with her prize on Wednesday, May 21 at Kwik Shop. Jacobsen, who is the manager at the store, told Nebraska Lottery officials that she purchased five Truck$ & Buck$ tickets at the end of a recent shift. “When I scratched them off at home, I couldn’t believe I had the winning ticket,” she said. “It was very exciting.”

Winning seems to run in Jacobsen’s family: in 2006, her brother Steve Addleman won a Toyota Tundra playing Truck$ & Buck$.

The 19th edition of the Nebraska Lottery’s popular Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game featured the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab Flex Fuel truck as its top prize. Players had the opportunity to win one of three Chevrolet Silverado trucks as well as $783,600 in cash and Ethanol-enriched fuel prizes. Larry McMaster of Kearney won the first Silverado on March 10, and Andrea Fuehrer of Grand Island won the second Silverado on March 18.

The truck prize is valued at $51,000, which includes $1,555 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $2,550 and $12,750, respectively. The odds of winning the top prize in Truck$ & Buck$ are 1 in 240,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.15.
