Nebraska Lottery Releases 19th Edition of Truck$ & Buck$

February 3, 2014 – The Nebraska Lottery is releasing the 19^th edition of its popular $2 Scratch game Truck$ & Buck$.

Truck$ & Buck$ is the Nebraska Lottery’s longest-running Scratch game, and players await the return of Truck$ & Buck$ every year. The “Truck$” in this year’s game are three 2014 Chevrolet® Silverado™ 1500 Crew Cab Flex Fuel trucks. Each Silverado features a 5.8L V8 Flex Fuel engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, 18" aluminum wheels, chrome assist steps, AM/FM/SiriusXM/HD audio system with color touch screen, power windows and door locks, 10-way adjustable driver’s seat, and bed liner.

The truck prize is valued at $51,000 which includes $1,555 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $2,550 and $12,750, respectively.

For the “Buck$” portion of the game, a total of $783,600 in cash prizes is available, including 30 prizes of $500. Players can also win one of three $1,000 Ethanol-enriched fuel prizes.

The Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game will be available at Nebraska Lottery retailers starting on February 3. The odds of winning the top prize in Truck$ & Buck$ are 1 in 240,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.15.

Players who don’t win a Chevrolet Silverado in the Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game have a second chance to win in the Truck$ & Buck$ Second-Chance Giveaway.

Between February 3 and May 13, players who send in $10 worth of non-winning $2 Scratch tickets will be entered for a chance to win a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab Flex Fuel truck. Entries may be submitted via the Nebraska Lottery website, nelottery.com, or by mail to:

Two preliminary drawings will be held to select a total of 10 semifinalists, who will compete at the Grand Prize drawing event on Sunday, June 8, during the Lincoln Saltdogs home baseball game. Each semifinalist is guaranteed to win at least $500, and one semifinalist will win the Chevrolet Silverado truck.
