$126,000 Nebraska Pick 5 Prize for Omaha Woman

October 16, 2013 – Cheryl Bullock of Omaha recently won $126,000 playing Nebraska Pick 5 from the Nebraska Lottery.

Bullock is a regular Lotto player who previously won $5,000 playing MyDaY in November 2009. For the September 19 drawing, she purchased a three-play Nebraska Pick 5 ticket at Bag ‘N Save, 2650 North 90^th Street in Omaha. The three-play ticket contained one play with all five of the winning numbers (3, 4, 17, 19, 30) from the September 19 drawing for $126,000.

Two hundred and eighty-eight Nebraska Lottery players have won the Nebraska Pick 5 jackpot to date.

While claiming her prize on September 20, Bullock told Nebraska Lottery officials that she learned she had won after seeing the winning numbers during the KETV Channel 7 news. “I was watching TV, and I saw the numbers come up,” said Bullock. “At first I thought, ‘This can’t be real.’ Then I hit rewind on the DVR just to double-check.” She plans to pay bills using her winnings.
