$110,000 Nebraska Pick 5 Prize for Bennet Man

October 2, 2013 – Randall Peterson of Bennet recently won $110,000 playing Nebraska Pick 5 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 8,700 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Tuesday, August 27 drawings. Among these winners was Peterson, who purchased his winning ticket at U-Stop, 2140 K Street in Lincoln. The quick pick ticket contained one play with the winning numbers (4, 17, 22, 28, 29) for the $110,000 jackpot.

Two hundred and eight-six Nebraska Lottery players have won the Nebraska Pick 5 jackpot to date.

Peterson wasted no time claiming his prize, arriving at Nebraska Lottery headquarters the morning after the drawing. He told Nebraska Lottery officials that he learned he had won after checking the Nebraska Lottery website, nelottery.com. “I saw those numbers, and then I thought I’d better get this ticket checked,” said Peterson. He plans to pay bills using his winnings.
