Truck Giveaway Winner Holds the Key to New Tundra

In front of a large crowd, 15 semifinalists in the Truck$ & Buck$ Second-Chance Giveaway gathered on June 8 at Haymarket Park in Lincoln to find out who would drive away with a 2013 Toyota Tundra Rock Warrior CrewMax 4x4 Flex Fuel truck.

After a series of elimination rounds, two finalists remained in the giveaway drawing. Sue Isaac of Kearney and a proxy representing Ken Liess of Alda took turns selecting keys from a covered container. Only one of the six keys in the container would unlock the Toyota Tundra. Isaac and the proxy contestant each made an attempt to open the truck without success. After drawing another key, Mr. Liess’ proxy attempted to unlock the truck again. With a cheer from the crowd, the door of the truck swung open, confirming that Liess was the Grand Prize winner.

The Truck$ & Buck$ Second-Chance Giveaway allowed players to send in $10 worth of non-winning $2 Scratch tickets for a chance to win a 2013 Toyota Tundra Rock Warrior CrewMax 4x4 Flex Fuel truck.
