Lincoln Man Wins $3,000 Playing Blackjack Doubler

March 7, 2013 – Charles Riley of Lincoln won $3,000 playing the $1 Scratch game Blackjack Doubler from the Nebraska Lottery.

Riley purchased his winning Blackjack Doubler ticket at Super Saver, 840 Fallbrook Boulevard in Lincoln. Scratching the ticket, he revealed cards that, when combined, beat the DEALER’S HAND for a corresponding prize of $3,000.

There are three $3,000 top prizes available in Blackjack Doubler. Riley is the first person to claim a top prize to date.

While claiming his prize on February 27, Riley told Nebraska Lottery officials that it took some time to realize he had won the top prize. “Honestly, I didn’t believe it,” he said. “I went back to the store to check the ticket, and my jaw dropped when they said it was a winner.” Riley plans to purchase a new car using his winnings.

Blackjack Doubler is a $1 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $388,800 in cash prizes from $2 to $3,000. The odds of winning the $3,000 top prize in Blackjack Doubler are 1 in 240,000, while the odds of winning any prize are 1 in 4.15.
