Lincoln Woman Wins $35,000 Playing Super 7’s Bingo

March 6, 2013 – Kathy Hohnstein of Lincoln won $35,000 playing the $3 Scratch game Super 7’s Bingo from the Nebraska Lottery.

Hohnstein purchased her winning Super 7’s Bingo ticket at Super C, 3501 Stockwell Street in Lincoln. Scratching the ticket, she revealed matching numbers in an “X” formation on Card 5 for a corresponding prize of $35,000.

There are six $35,000 top prizes available in Super 7’s Bingo. Hohnstein is the fourth person to claim a top prize to date.

While claiming her prize on February 25, Hohnstein told Nebraska Lottery officials that she was “totally stunned” to win the $35,000 top prize. “I scratched it off, and I said, ‘I think I have a big winner,’” said Hohnstein. She plans to pay bills using her winnings.

Super 7’s Bingo is a $3 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $4.3 million in cash prizes from $3 to $35,000. The odds of winning the $35,000 top prize in Super 7’s Bingo are 1 in 360,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.47.
