Elwood Man Wins $138,000 Nebraska Pick 5 Jackpot

January 15, 2013 – Edward Sarr of Elwood recently won $138,000 playing Nebraska Pick 5 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 12,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Wednesday, December 26 drawings. Among these winners was Sarr, who purchased his winning ticket at The Red Barn, 107 North Smith Street in Elwood. The three-play quick pick ticket contained one play with the winning numbers (5, 17, 24, 30, 36) from the December 26 drawing for the $138,000 jackpot.
