Gibbon Man Wins $50,000 Playing Mega Cash

Jose Vazquez August 3, 2012 – Jose Vazquez of Gibbon won $50,000 playing the $5 Scratch game Mega Cash from the Nebraska Lottery.

Vazquez purchased his winning Mega Cash ticket at Casey’s General Store, 902 G Street in Central City. Scratching the ticket, he revealed matching numbers for a corresponding prize of $50,000.

There are three $50,000 top prizes available in Mega Cash. Vazquez is the second person to claim a top prize to date.

Mega Cash is a $5 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $1.2 million in cash prizes from $5 to $50,000. The odds of winning the $50,000 top prize in Mega Cash are 1 in 120,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.46.
