April 16, 2012 – The Nebraska Lottery is releasing the 17th edition of its popular $2 Scratch game Truck$ & Buck$.
For its 17th year, the Nebraska Lottery has made some exciting changes to Truck$ & Buck$ that players are sure to notice: new trucks; more cash prizes; and a bigger second-chance prize.
The “Truck$” in this year’s Truck$ & Buck$ game are three 2012 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 SuperCrew Flex Fuel trucks. Each F-150 features a 5.0L V8 EEF Flex Fuel engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, 18" chrome wheels, tow package, chrome step bars, AM/FM/CD stereo, power windows and door locks, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, and bed liner.
The truck prize is valued at $47,000, which includes $1,575 for costs associated with ownership and state and federal withholding paid by the Nebraska Lottery of $2,350 and $11,750, respectively.
For the “Buck$” portion of the game, there are three new second-tier prizes of $10,000. Additionally, players can win one of three $1,000 Ethanol-enriched fuel prizes or $791,247 in total cash prizes.
The Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game will be available at Nebraska Lottery retailers starting on April 16. The odds of winning the top prize in Truck$ & Buck$ are 1 in 240,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.40.
Players who don’t win a Ford F-150 in the Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game have a second chance to win in the Truck$ & Buck$ Second-Chance Giveaway.
Between April 16 and August 14, players who send in $10 worth of non-winning $2 Scratch tickets will be entered for a chance to win a 2012 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 SuperCrew Flex Fuel truck and a tailgate grill package.
