Beatrice Woman Wins $35,000 Playing Wild Bingo

March 18, 2010 – Mariesha Brown of Beatrice won $35,000 playing the $3 Scratch game Wild Bingo from the Nebraska Lottery.

Brown purchased her winning Wild Bingo ticket at K&B Tobacco Outlet, 116 North 8th Street in Beatrice. Scratching the ticket, she revealed matching numbers in a “X” formation on Card 5 for a corresponding $35,000 prize.

There were three $35,000 top prizes available in Wild Bingo. Brown was the third person to claim a top prize in the game.

While claiming her prize on March 10, Brown told Nebraska Lottery officials that she was “very excited” to win the $35,000 top prize. She plans to save her winnings for the future.

Wild Bingo was a $3 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offered players the chance to win $1,413,300 in cash prizes from $3 to $35,000. The odds of winning $35,000 playing Wild Bingo were 1 in 240,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize were 1 in 3.27.
