$1,000 Super Crossword Prize for Wymore Man

October 14, 2009 – Kenneth Reed of Wymore won $1,000 playing the $5 Scratch game Super Crossword from the Nebraska Lottery.

Reed purchased his winning Super Crossword ticket at RD's Bottle Shop, 403 South 14th Street in Wymore. Scratching the ticket, he revealed nine complete words for a corresponding prize of $1,000.

There are three $1,000 prizes available in Super Crossword. Reed is the second person to claim a $1,000 prize to date.

Super Crossword is a $5 Scratch game that offers players the chance to win $2,448,000 in cash prizes from $5 to $50,000. The odds of winning $1,000 playing Super Crossword are 1 in 240,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.24.
