Oakdale Man Wins $3,600 Playing 9 Ball

August 19, 2009 – Derek Sonnenfelt of Oakdale won $3,600 playing the $1 Scratch game 9 Ball from the Nebraska Lottery.

Sonnenfelt purchased his winning 9 Ball ticket at Mr. S's, 52753 Highway 275 in Oakdale. Scratching the ticket, he revealed matching numbers with a corresponding prize of $3,600.

There were two $3,600 prizes available in 9 Ball. Sonnenfelt was the second person to win a 9 Ball top prize.

9 Ball was a $1 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offered players the chance to win $378,030 in cash prizes from $2 to $3,600. The odds of winning the $3,600 top prize in 9 Ball were 1 in 720,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize were 1 in 3.89.
