Kearney Woman Wins $2,500 Playing Mocha Moolah

May 7, 2008 – Shannon Cook of Kearney won $2,500 playing the $1 Scratch game Mocha Moolah from the Nebraska Lottery.

Cook purchased her winning Mocha Moolah ticket at Pump & Pantry, 4311 Second Street in Kearney. The ticket contained one winning “dollar bill” symbol with a corresponding prize of $2,500.

There are four $2,500 top prizes available in Mocha Moolah. Cook is the first person to claim a Mocha Moolah top prize to date.

Mocah Moolah is a $1 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $443,400 in cash prizes from $2 to $2,500. The odds of winning the $2,500 top prize in Mocha Moolah are 1 in 210,000 while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.84.
