Lincoln Woman Wins $1,000 Playing Winning 7’s

April 2, 2008 – Margie Wilson of Lincoln won $1,000 playing the $2 Scratch game Winning 7’s from the Nebraska Lottery.

Wilson purchased her winning ticket at Jackpot Convenience Store, 501 West A Street in Lincoln. Scratching the ticket, Wilson revealed eleven “7” symbols for a corresponding prize of $1,000.

While claiming her prize, Wilson told Nebraska Lottery officials that at first she thought she had won $500. However, after checking the ticket again at Jackpot Convenience, she realized she had won $1,000. Wilson plans to pay bills using her winnings.

Winning 7’s is a $2 Scratch game from the Nebraska Lottery that offers players the chance to win $624,900 in cash prizes from $2 to $10,000. The odds of winning $1,000 playing Winning 7’s are 1 in 160,000 while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.55.
